London Riots I Mean UK Riots

As we are approaching the fourth night of looting in what has very quickly become the UK. I wonder what will come from this apart from damage and destruction to personal possessions and property. I mean all these images of burnt out cars that are strung through the news. Makes you think, well makes me think.

How expensive is my car insurance going to be next year?

People like myself who work hard for my pennies, are told that the cost of living is going up to save the economy. It makes it hard for us to either live a little more comfortably or afford to live at all.

However, We will all mutter under breathes about how we disagree with it all but see why it is being done and how deep down we actually agree with what the government are doing. Because in the long run it means we will have a more stable future. I mean this is stuff that we will only mutter and never say out load as you don’t want the government to know that they are doing things right.

But my god the stuff that we have seen on the TV is awful. I don’t mean that in a it will be ok in the end way either. Because it won’t. There are livelihoods that are getting destroyed and they will claim on insurances which will increase premiums overall.

Also these businesses might not even re open in this country. Sony is the prime example, they run that much of a tight ship all the time that the property and premises damaged in these riots could make Sony withdraw operations in the uk all together. So, unemployment will go up.

In the end if you have a car it is probably burnt out somewhere and if it is not burnt out, you will probably not be able to afford it because your place of work is burnt down or your car insurance company has added a trailing zero at the end of your bill over night.

The distance between the lower and middle classes has been increased even further. Whatever the aim is has backfired badly.

However the shining light is that the community is pulling together. Clean up crews organised by local residents not government, people helping police reclaims the streets. Britain isn’t broken its just a select few trying to cause anarchy.

P.S. Rant Over!
